Πυρκαγιά σε ξενοδοχείο της Θεσσαλονίκης – Απεγκλωβίστηκαν 227 άτομα
Φωτιά ξέσπασε τα ξημερώματα της Πέμπτης στο οκταώροφο ξενοδοχείο «Βεργίνα» που βρίσκεται στην οδό Μοναστηρίου 19 στη Θεσσαλονίκη. Σύμφωνα με την Πυροσβεστική Υπηρεσία, η πυρκαγιά εκδηλώθηκε σε δωμάτιο του τέταρτου ορόφου.

Υπό το αίσθημα του φόβου γύρω στα 20 άτομα ανέβηκαν, σύμφωνα με την ενημέρωση της Πυροσβεστικής, στην ταράτσα του ξενοδοχείου προκειμένου να γλιτώσουν από τους καπνούς και τις αναθυμιάσεις.
Η πυρκαγιά, που εκδηλώθηκε λίγο μετά τις 02.10, τέθηκε υπό έλεγχο και όλοι οι άνθρωποι απεγκλωβίστηκαν με ασφάλεια από το κτήριο.
Σύμφωνα με πληροφορίες, στο ξενοδοχείο διέμεναν πολλοί μαθητές από ευρωπαϊκό σχολείο(Βρυξέλλες).
